MACULA VISION TEST is an application for iPad which allows you to monitor your eyesight through three check-ups addressed to all those people who are potentially affected by macular degeneration, diabetes, or myopia. Thanks to Macula Vision Test, it is possible to easily keep a possible variation in eyesight due to these diseases under control.

THE 3 TESTS

1) VISUAL ACUITY >> The morphoscopic visual acuity test is one of the main tests to check the level of a person’s visual capacity. A series of symbols or letters are placed in a sequence, and these gradually decrease in size as the dioptre increases: according to the patient’s sharpness of eyesight, they will or will not be able to distinguish the letters.

2) CONTRAST SENSITIVITY >> The variable contrast test is a test that provides screens of symbols or letters with a contrast that may decrease on each screen according to a regular progression which reduces the difference in contrast in the two adjacent areas.

3) MACULAR VISUAL FIELD >> The macular visual field test includes a cross linked screen with a point at the center, where squares of different sizes and in different places will appear in sequence. It is useful to discover whether the patient perceives images with fuzzy, cloudy, or empty areas.
